On January 10th, 2018 — Local 79 Vice President Jason Chan participated in the City’s consultations on the 2018 City Budget, telling the Budget Committee that after many years of budget cuts, frontline city workers are feeling stretched.
Chan highlighted the need for more recreation programs and made the case for better investments for services across all divisions.
