Local 79 has debuted a new video media spotlight on members in the workplace.

Meet our first member spotlight: Brenda, a Client Service Worker at Seaton House in the Toronto Shelter and Support Services (TSSS) division.

In sharing her experience and perspectives on being a frontline worker for the City of Toronto, Brenda talks about some of the best parts of her job and some of the challenges she faces.

Seaton House is Toronto’s largest and one of the oldest shelters serving homeless men in Toronto. Today, Seaton House has 581 beds at its George Street location and serves thousands of individuals each year.
