IWD 2012: Good Jobs, Services, Dignity
On Saturday, March 3rd, Local 79 participated in the 2012 International Women’s Day events, where civic workers were featured in a rally starting at 11:00 am at OISE, 252 Bloor Street West. At 1:00 pm the march left OISE and proceeded to Nathan Phillips Square at City Hall in a show of support for civic workers and the public services they provide. The march will ended at Ryerson University.
“Good Jobs, Services, Dignity” was the theme of the 2012 Annual Toronto International Women’s Day Rally and March.
