CUPE Local 79’s Bargaining Committee is meeting this morning with City negotiators to discuss the rejection of the City’s contract offer by Local 79’s Recreation Workers Part-Time Unit.
The meeting comes a day after Local 79 President Tim Maguire urged the City to come back to the table and negotiate solutions, rather than forcing their demands, as Local 79 continues to focus on the outstanding issues that matter most to Part-time Recreation Workers.
