Our members have stepped up in a big way to our purse and toiletry donation challenge! All donations collected will be delivered to clients at the City’s shelters.
Local 79 workplaces across Toronto are competing to collect the most donations. The winners are promised a surprise at the end of April.
A shout out to 311 Toronto and Longterm Care Home Bendale Acres for being neck and neck in the competition. Go team go!
We also want to acknowledge a very generous cash donation from a member from Toronto Community Housing.
If you have bulk donations purse/toiletry donations, please send an email to Aimee Carnell at acarnell@cupelocal79.org. Individual donations can be dropped off at Local 79’s office at 34 St. Patrick Street between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
