Generation Y faces unique challenges in the workforce and globally. That’s why — on Saturday, October 18, at the North York Civic Centre — Local 79 held its first Symposium exclusively for young workers.

Participants discussed how to increase participation in the union, financial literacy, underemployment/unemployment, and electoral participation.
