On February 25th, 2015, as part of CUPE Local 79’s celebrations for Black History Month 2015, an event was held to honour and reflect on the extraordinary life of Muriel Collins, who passed away on November 12th, 2013.
We were honoured to welcome several members of Muriel’s family to celebrate with us, as well as many guests from the Labour Movement that worked with Muriel over the years.
