Celebrate with CUPE Local 79 at the Festival of South East Asia August 23 and 2
The Festival of South Asia provides an opportunity to celebrate and experience the culture and cuisine of South Asia. From Bhangra to Basmati to Bollywood music, this event has all the ingredients to make festival visitors feel like they’ve travelled to the other side of the world. Event attendees will have the chance to experience parades, charitable dance-a-thon, interactive booths, Taste of South Asia and many cultural performances.
This summer, keep an eye out for CUPE 79. We’ll be at some of the great Toronto events and festivals, connecting with Torontonians and handing out some things to add to the fun. We’ll even have a photobooth. There’s nothing like summer in Toronto – the world’s best city to live, work, and play in.
