As part of the Innovation Lab’s TEDucation Series, Local 79 President Tim Maguire spoke to an audience of City Staff on October 29th, 2015, addressing the theme of City efforts to address poverty. Tim spoke about how the City and policy makers can take bold, innovative action against income inequality through employment models that include the provision of living wages and stable and predictable employment for workers, the City, its agencies and contractors.
